Goodbye Mayberry

I can't believe it has been 16 months since we began our new adventure in Mayberry USA.
We will never forget the beauty and peace of the Loess Hills- but life pulls us in a different direction right now and we are headed back South to Savannah, Georgia.

OF COURSE we had to move during record low temps ...

seriously?

Thank God Darrin rescued my favorite garden gnome in time to go on the truck....

So what will I call my blog now? Loess Is No More?
HELP!

Stay tuned for tales from a new chapter........

The look on that gnomes face, priceless. Hope Mom L looks that happy when you dig her out in a month or 2. Have a safe trip, we heard the roads might be a little slippery.

Holy COW that looks cold... how did your little bean take it? I have no idea what you should call the blog - as long as you keep calling it something, I shall keep calling in!!

I think that with a little one AND a move - in the middle of winter, 'no loess' - you'll be doing good to remember your name, much less blog.

HOWEVER, if you insist (and we'd all be thrilled!), I think Loess is No More is a terrific name, even if you regain some brain cells later and care to rename it at some later point. At THIS point, the goal is mere survival.

I'm with bigheadedbob - the look on the gnome's face probably sums it all up :)

Safe travels family! I don't care what you call it as long as you keep at it. Glad you saved the gnome!

Oh my gosh, you had a gnome and a stick deer! You have been holding out on me.

Safe Journey.

The Loess Hills is a beautiful place to visit--except for those darn beatles. Henry Morgan was snug as a bug in a rug in Savannah through the sub-zero temps and snow. The gnome survived the trip and now has a place of honor at the new residences. And he surely won't freeze. SB

I miss ALL my babies, big and small! But I'm glad you're back in the warmth, and I know you big ones well - you will continue having adventures with great photos!

I know the gnome was grateful you rescued him, but what about your mama deer and babies?

Love you!!
