Here's The Story....

Man alive I have been a horrible blogger lately- it's been 3 weeks, really? My how time flies.

So my in-laws just bought a house in their neighborhood as an investment property, and we moved into it this past weekend- hoping this will be our last move for AWHILE!

It is a fantastic house that was built in 1971- all it needs is some TLC and a few updates.

Now, when I say updates I MEAN updates- Darrin and I call it The Brady Bunch House.

Awesome. Who doesn't love the Bradys?

Here a few examples:

The original stove-still works!

The front doors- SO RETRO I LOVE it!

We found a few treasures they left behind too- I'm keeping all of them. So great.

Brillo pad holder- so 70's!

You open this and it is a key holder. So groovy.

And how cute is this?

Love it.

And here is my ABSOLUTE favorite room- it is so 70's I think it is the greatest wallpaper I ever did see. It's not going anywhere.

Well, that concludes my 70's tour. All this Brady style is wearing off on me- makes me want to go cook and clean for my man.

HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa!

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you the funniest part! Our street name?
You guessed it..... BRADY STREET!

Doesn't it just make you want to get a live in maid named Alice?
I love it!
I'm glad to hear that you might be able to put your feet up somewhere for a minute.
Sending you groovy thoughts!

Wow - I can't believe they left all that behind!!! The doors are magnificent.

You're forgiven for being slack as far as blogging - 'cause I know you haven't been really slack! So much to do!

lol; if I'd ever been into experimentation, that Brillo holder would've sent me straight into a flashback.

Go, Carol Brady, go!

I can see it all now. That sweet split level with the staircase so that you and Darrin and Henry and Nancy and all the other chillins can line up height-wise with your housekeeper Alice. So definiately an 80's dream come true.

Congrats Diane. You've got it made, sistah!

I JUST don't see you as the Carol Brady type - its a feeling I have!! That house looks amazing - very cool... and one thing before I go? If you ever decide to give her up, can I borrow your Mum? She's adorable!

Can't wait to see the pics of you and D playing Twister on a Friday night in the living room. Break out the Jiffy Pop and get a steak from Sam the butcher to keep Bango occupied.
