Friend Of The Devil

What would cause the dogs to run up and down, in and out, back and forth and bark non-stop from 2am to 5am this morning?

?

?

?

?

?

Um THESE.

Aren't they cute?

NO! They are the devil.

Now I know why people cut off and sell their ding dongs!

What cute little bandits! Maybe you should let them in to play with the dogs - wouldn't that be fun?

Love you!

Oh yes, I know those little devils well. Garbage strewing, hole digging, kiddie pool popping, cat attacking, dog mangling, garden wrecking, shiny object stealing, people menacing, mess making, scary hissing, ring tailed demons!
They are pretty cute though, as long as they're not in my yard.

I love racoons. God put 'em up to all that mischief.

they're mean as hell. we had one that used to eat the cat food on the back porch and he would hiss and spit at you if you even looked at him out the window. still, no excuse for the ding dong thing...

Do you remember my telling you about the raccoons that came up on S's deck when I lived there? They were funny - of course we put out stuff for them. Tossed some old hard-boiled eggs out one time. They left the shells. They got so they'd come scratch on the glass doors....and of course R and the other S put out cat food for theirs.

Well Kittens are cute, but I have no love for, ......well let's get back to the real problem, use those humane traps, and turn them loose in LN yard. Problem solved.

Hey, wait a minute BHB! That's it, crush over.

We recently had a sweet young gal move into the triplex next door. She admitted to me that the raccoons that make a seasonal home in our shared laurel bush, totally freak her out. "I mean we like, live in the ghetto, what's up with all the nature?" (Poor thing has obviously never seen an actual ghetto)
So, I told her, "Stand up on your tippy toes, waving your arms in the sky, then hiss and growl at them, like this..."
Now she's affraid of the raccoons and her neighbor.

They are cute. Maybe not so much when they are making the dogs bark all night though!

If I was that bad, I;d be wearing a mask too. What advise does the net give about humanely getting them to move elsewhere? Or are you past the humanely part?

LN - you made me giggle! Your poor neighbor. Cousin Cheryl - why don't you visit Iowa, grab the raccoons and take them back with you? You could leave them on the beach....

How funny is that! LN doing the coon mating dance for her new next door neighbor, with a muppet no doubt. Anyone have a U-Tube link to that?

LOLOLOLOLOL. You know... you could make a lot of money making dingydong necklaces - and since you have your own livestock - it's pure profit baby.

OMG who would do that? They are cute. I know, they would eat my chickens given half a chance, but they are cute!
