Over There?

Even though I lived in Savannah for 5 years during College and have been back for about a million visits since then, there are lots of touristy things I never experienced.

A Dolphin Tour is one of them.

Since my friend Beth is visiting this weekend I decided to finally do it.

Here is her boy Alex ready to see some dolphins!

YEP! We saw ONE dolphin appear for a second. So lame.



All these years wanting to do a dolphin tour and I see I haven't missed much!

Still had fun though.

Cat Burglar Strikes Again!

So my famous cat picture has been stolen AGAIN!

My friend Chaney spotted it on some website and sent me an email alert, "so someone apparently came up with the idea to put tiger's, ahem, delicate texts he sent to his lady friends to pictures with kittens. look what was stolen ONCE AGAIN."



LOL! At this point I am not even annoyed, it's just funny.

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day for a walk in the park and around the squares of downtown Savannah.

Since I have been in such a creative rut as of late, I decided to give Henry the camera today......

I'm not gonna lie- I've got nothing. Nothing I tell you. There is nothing for me to blog about. I am not inspired like I was in Mayberry. Period.

What I do have though, is this picture I took somewhere in Florida last year.

Here's The Story....

Man alive I have been a horrible blogger lately- it's been 3 weeks, really? My how time flies.

So my in-laws just bought a house in their neighborhood as an investment property, and we moved into it this past weekend- hoping this will be our last move for AWHILE!

It is a fantastic house that was built in 1971- all it needs is some TLC and a few updates.

Now, when I say updates I MEAN updates- Darrin and I call it The Brady Bunch House.

Awesome. Who doesn't love the Bradys?

And here is my ABSOLUTE favorite room- it is so 70's I think it is the greatest wallpaper I ever did see. It's not going anywhere.



Well, that concludes my 70's tour. All this Brady style is wearing off on me- makes me want to go cook and clean for my man.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you the funniest part! Our street name?
You guessed it..... BRADY STREET!

My Favorite Angel

I thought my first post from our new life in Savannah should include a picture from one of my favorite places here, Bonaventure Cemetery. It is one of the the most beautiful, peaceful places I have ever experienced. A few days ago I felt the urge to go visit.

This Angel always draws me to her....



She calms me.

Goodbye Mayberry

I can't believe it has been 16 months since we began our new adventure in Mayberry USA.
We will never forget the beauty and peace of the Loess Hills- but life pulls us in a different direction right now and we are headed back South to Savannah, Georgia.

OF COURSE we had to move during record low temps ...

Thank God Darrin rescued my favorite garden gnome in time to go on the truck....

A New Year

I Need Your Help!

Here is my last entry for 2009 and boy is it a doozy, so here goes.

I have started an online store where I am selling postcards of my photographs for only $2.50 each.



Why you ask?

Well, we are moving back to Georgia (Savannah) where Darrin has better job prospects and contacts to get back into his old field.
We have bills/expenses piling up and no money coming in right now.
Formula and diapers are EXPENSIVE.
It is pretty much a nightmare.

I need your help to spread the word to your friends! If all of my contacts let all of their contacts know about MY POSTCARD STORE, and each person orders just one postcard- it's possible that thousands of postcards could be purchased....because the power of the Internet is an amazing tool for reaching endless amounts of people! It's possible right? It could happen!!

If you guys have any requests/ideas for different postcards you'd like to see in the store please let me know, I will be adding more each day.
