I was told to list 6 things that make me happy...
- I'm happy that the Geek Squad salvaged most of my important files.
- I'm happy that my credit card had room for a new laptop.
- I'm happy for my upcoming Atlanta shoots to help pay my credit card.
- I'm happy that Darrin's family likes crazy people.
- I'm happy that MY family likes crazy people.
- I'm happy that I just heard a mouse trap go "snap. crackle. pop."
I'll be REALLY happy when I'm in the mood to take fun pictures and write silly blog posts again.
But in the meantime, to amuse myself I g0 HERE and then click the "get happy" button. Try it. It's fun. And the 'random-happy-gibberish' it generates makes for some great post titles.

I just tried that "get happy" button.
It said "Grow vivacious cookies and milk."
Um. Yeah. OK.
Now on the other hand, this blog below, and this particular post, crack me up. Do watch the bunnies singing "Florence Henderson Hair." I think it's right up your alley.

omg awesome. it's been bookmarked.
anticipate yellow monkeys!!! Yes - that's it! My random happiness.
Love the bunnies, Claire. OK - I'm tired - been gone all day. By for now. Love you!
bunnies are good but i love the get happy button!
i was hoping more people would post what theirs was.
And belated congratulations on passing 3 weeks smoke-free! If the laptop episode didn't set you back, then you're in the clear.
"smiling wet tire swing!" OMG, sounds icky. Pee on the tire swing?
"smiling joyous early morning". well, i am a happy morning person. where is feb 4 addition to your blog? and today is the 5th. i miss it when you don't add something every day. you know i don't have much of a life so i look forward to outside contact.
two days without posts!! i do hope you are ok. too many bridge pictures?
Today's happy Gibberish message was "Blink Quantum Life" and I'm still not sure what it means. Why is it that I get the weird ones.
I hear you are hanging about at bridges. Have you seen "The Bridges of Madison County" film? Did you know that I live in Madison County? Not too far from said bridges...
Diane, if you don't post something soon, I shall have to drive out to Turin looking for you. I'll have to keep an eye out for flipped vehicles. I can also ask the locals "Seen any Southerners lately? and they'll probably nod their heads in that knowing way, and point me in a direction where I will find you setting up your barcaloungers and trying to make margaritas in the snow. Or maybe you'll be trying to plow up your field a month early and there'll be a line-up of locals at the pub putting bets on when your plow is gonna break down...
Decided to try the Get Happy button and got "splash natural gratitude". I like that one. I am very grateful for my new friends and family. And the opportunity to learn about Iowa! Hope you all have a great weekend! And I am grateful for the sunshine (and slightly warmer temperatures) today. Grace went out to play in the snow with Nana and had a great time!
Love to all!
"tickle humorous." Do you suppose your FIL is considered humorous? Naw, maybe Daisy Mae. It is going to be in the 70's all week so I won't spend much time on the computer.
Calm compassionate eyes - now, I really like that one. Trying to remain compassionate about your laptop, bridges in snow, etc. while I wait for a new post! Love you.
I'm back! I went with Darrin Thursday morning to Columbus, NE to see watch and photo a few of his bridge inspections. We got back yesterday afternoon, and today was so pretty we checked out Desoto National Park. I am working on a blog right now! Claire, we drove through Madison CO. on our way to Des Moines last month.
P.S.
respect upside-down balloons!
Well ya could've warned us DANG GUMMIT!! For all we knew, you fell off a bridge into freezing water and floated away with dogs running after you getting raggedy paws and trying to alert Darrin who had flipped the Jeep again.
You see what happens in my imagination?
You visited Des Moines and you didn't come to see us?
Snort.
