LOVE the gagging, gasping spitting commentary about the Asian Beetles with the occasional "Ooooooh myyyyyyy goooooood" thrown in. So funny. By the way... what are those bugs and why do they swarm?
Diane, they just showed up here in NW Iowa for the first time in the summer of 2002. They were so thick that we had to use a grain scoop to scoop them off the sheep barn (now studio) floor...no s__t they were 10 inches deep!!!
We found the best way to get rid of them was to spray with "Tempo" (get it from your ag store or coop). Spray the outside of your door frames, window frames and your eaves with it at the first sign of them in the fall.
Tempo's the best...it's the only one that works and is less harmful to you and the dogs.

They just wanted to taste your farm eggs.
I saw one today! I remember your video of them though, they have never been THAT thick here though!
