Coconut Thingamajig

Went for a walk today and brought my point-n-shoot with me instead of a dog.

For some odd reason this thingamajig really fascinated me.

I was hoping to come up with some deep poem or quote about life to go along with the thingamajig pics, but oddly all I can think of right now is coconut LifeSavers.......mmmmmmmmmmm.......and my brain stops here.

Mmmmm....coconut life savers...

It doesn't look anything like the insulators we have for our electric fence, and that's a barbed wire fence, which is not the kind of wire they use in electric fences....

I am unconvinced by Anonymous.

So proud of me. I talked to Di as soon as I saw the post late this afternoon, and told her I thought it looked like one of those porcelain thingies they put on an electric fence!

Next time, Diane, go up and touch the wire to test it for us!!! But wait until after C.L. is born....

Love you!

mmm... thinking coconut lifesavers are in order! I wonder if they come in the big bag like the cherry ones?

Can you braid? I think you could crochet. It involves one hook & some yarn. My eight year old can start a chain...I learned at about seven from my grandmother (the bathing cap grandmother). I thought it would be fun to start again, so the other day I grabbed some yarn and a book (because I knew I wasn't really remembering all the stuff she tried to show me)

Knitting is the thing one does with the two big needles. My brother in law knits. I can knit too but I think crochet is more fun.

So far your creepy owl parts are grey white & green with stripes of red/orange and also a yellow stripe. But not sewed up or stuffed yet.

They are insulators and can be used on barbwire. The insulators we are using now are black and not porcelian. The best way to test if the fence is turned on is to pee on it, right D???
